Company History

Motoshoot was founded in December 28, 2006 by two individuals, Muhd Opandi Che Wook (Opandi) and Mat Hazani Mohd Ghani (Jass). They are a leading motorbike pilot and a freelance cameraman, respectively. The team has been working together since 2002 to produce video and TV footage for various Television Networks and Production houses, including RTM, VTV, Squared TV, Astro, ESPN, and CCTV.

Specializing in live shots from a motorbike without direct instructions, Motoshoot's team members are experienced in handling high-powered BMW motorcycles equipped for onboard shooting and camera operations. They cover a range of sports events including Formula 1, Moto GP, Badminton, Hockey, Football, Xtreme Games, Marathon, and UCI Bicycle Road Racing. Notably, they have experience in events like Le Tour De Langkawi (LTDL), Tour of Siam, and several others.

Motoshoot's expertise lies in producing quality and compact footage that is easily editable and conducive for story composition. With their knowledge, experience, and specialized equipment, they excel in covering sports events like marathons and bicycle road races with minimal guidance required from the clients' producers or directors.

Dato' Muhd Opandi Che Wook

Executive Chairman

Dato’ Muhd Opandi Che Wook, 60, is an experienced investor and the Executive Chairman of Motoshoot Media & Motoshoot Event Sdn Bhd. He holds a B.S.C in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific, California, USA. With 36 years of motorbike riding experience, he has been deeply involved in UCI cycling races since 1998, serving in various roles such as Marshall, Commissaire Moto Pilot, and Moto TV Pilot for events like Le Tour de Langkawi (LTDL), Jelajah Malaysia, and the Tour of Peninsular. He also played a significant role in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Torch Relay as a motorbike pilot for TVP CCTV. Besides his extensive work in UCI events, he has been a Chief Marshall and TVP Pilot for SAM ASEAN Rides, an instructor at Sepang Racing Circuit, and has covered the Singapore Marathon.

Mat Yusof Ismail, 58, has an extensive career spanning 25 years in TV sports production. Starting as an Assistant Producer at TV3 in 1994, he quickly advanced to Producer by 1997, handling major events such as the Atlanta Olympic Games, World Youth Cup, SEA Games, and France 98. After a brief hiatus due to health reasons, he resumed his career in October 1999 with Sports Events Network, excelling in producing and directing football events like the Dunhill M League for RTM. He returned to TV3 in 2003 as a Contract Staff, demonstrating his versatility and passion for sports broadcasting. Mat Yusof has been recognized for his work, winning Best Live Sports Coverage at the 20th Asian Television Award in Singapore (2015). His professional experiences include roles as Executive Producer for Euro 2004 in Portugal, Studio Coordinator for World Cup 2006 in Germany, and Director for the ITTF Volkswagen Women’s World Cup 2008 in Kuala Lumpur. He has overseen live sports broadcasts across various sports, including football, badminton, tennis, table tennis, basketball, rugby, sepaktakraw, polo, futsal, track cycling, and volleyball at Astro Arena. His freelance work includes directing and producing for events like the Football World Cup Qualifiers, AFC U-16 Qualifying, SEA Games, AFC Cup, and the Badminton Asian Tour. His dedication and expertise have made him a prominent figure in sports broadcasting.

Azrena Ibrahim

Executive Director

Khairul Azlan Mukhtar, 54, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, majoring in Broadcasting, from UITM (1994). With extensive experience in the broadcast industry, he has progressed from assistant roles to becoming a Producer, Director, and Marketing Manager at companies like A&B Sports Management & Services and Astro Arena Sdn. Bhd. His expertise includes sports production, management, and event coordination, handling client management, budget preparation, live sports OB production, and project coordination. He has overseen major projects such as the Asian Games, FIFA Futsal World Cup, and various prestigious badminton and football tournaments. Khairul has been nominated for the Sri Angkasa 2000 in the Sport category and the Asia TV Award for the Desaru International Triathlon 2000. He has also produced the pilot episode of "Super Asian Challenge" for Mediacorp, Singapore, and a motorbike training program for CASTROL, Australia. His completed projects span from 1999 to 2020, including producing and directing for Le Tour de Langkawi, Moto GP, Japan GT, and numerous TV programs and events for ASTRO, RTM, and PETRONAS.

Rosmadi Bin Saad

Project & Event Manager

Abdul Rahim Md Nor has a solid background in audio and video management, with a Certificate in Sound Touring Speed Course from Mega Music World (2014) and a Certificate in Sound Engineering from First Live Sound. He has held senior roles, including Senior Manager at Spacelabs Technology Sdn Bhd and Executive Audio at Astro Arena Sdn Bhd. His responsibilities have included coordinating live telecasts, managing budgets and equipment, ensuring high-quality audio and visual standards, and resolving technical issues promptly for seamless broadcasts. His completed projects include the Global Rapid Rugby Showcase 2019, Rapid Rugby events in Singapore and Hong Kong, the Brazil World Tour 2019, UFC Fight Night Singapore 2019, and major sporting events like the SEA Games, Commonwealth Games, and Olympic Games. Additionally, he has managed audio for the MSL (2010-2012), various football finals, Kafe Sukan, Nadi Arena, and numerous other high-profile broadcasts.
